WAMO Hosts Curley School Artists at Steinfeld

On the weekend of November 10-11, more than 200 Tucson and Pima County artists will open their doors to the public for the free Fall Open Studio Tour, sponsored by the Tucson Pima Arts Council.

WAMO is pleased to host Morgana Wallace Cooper, Jovita Wallace, Steven Cook Atkinson, Arnold Lloyd Alexander, Victor Garcia, Karen Sucharski and Mike Henrichs;  the works of these artists from the Curley School (Ajo, AZ) will be on view both days from 11 am – 5 pm at the Steinfeld Warehouse Community Arts Center,  101 W. 6th Avenue.

  • Peruse the handmade, unique and colorful mosaic-style tile at Santa Theresa Tileworks, 440 N. 6th Avenue, and handcrafted custom tile designs at Old Market Inn Tile Shop, 403 N. 6th Avenue.
  • Have a cup of coffee at eXo Roast Co, 403 N 6th Avenue.  Part roasterie, part cafe, their space is designed to showcase coffees using multiple methods–single origin espresso, Chemex, French press, manual drip, and coffee cuppings for every bean in the larder.
  • Have an all natural, handcrafted microbrew made with local ingredients at  Borderlands Brewing, 119 E. Toole Avenue.
